On the 5th of September two of Perth's powerhouse songstresses will share a stage in an epic night of original music.

KNiKi & the Devils of Blues will thrill you with huge vocals and a blues band so rocking they'll make you want to pour yourself a shot of whiskey and dance with the devil. With brilliant blues licks and vocals haunted by the ghost of Janice Joplin, KNiKi and her Devils of Blues will meet you at the crossroads, and dare you to lay your soul down.

Mama Red & the Dark Blues will bring you heavy harmonies and lyrics so raw they will get stuck in your soul forever. A devilishly eclectic mix of heavy alt-folk, country-blues and ironic pop, the Mama and her motley crew will have you dancing in the aisles one minute, and crying in your beer the next.

Join a small herd of Perth’s most brilliant musicians as they wail and howl at the 21st Century melancholy in a night of unedited emotion. For two solid sets of power and passion, these femme-fronted outfits will have their audience enthralled, swinging from the highest highs, to the lowest lows, all by way of the blues.
